Terms of Service

1. The service

Ascend is a daily training app for online creators. It provides short lessons, AI-assisted writing tools, and progress tracking. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use Ascend. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the service.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Parts of Ascend are free. Paid features are available through a Pro subscription billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with notice; changes never apply retroactively to an active billing period.

You can cancel any time from the billing portal in your profile. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds for partial periods are at our discretion — email us and we'll be reasonable.

4. Your content

Everything you write in Ascend — drafts, lesson outputs, profile answers — is yours. You give us a limited license to store and process it solely to operate the service (for example, sending your draft to an AI model to get coaching feedback).

5. AI features

The AI coach generates suggestions automatically. They may be wrong, generic, or unsuitable for your audience — review everything before you publish it. You are responsible for the content you post on other platforms.

AI usage is subject to fair-use limits to keep the service fast and affordable for everyone.

6. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no scraping, reselling access, attempting to bypass usage limits or paywalls, or using the AI features to generate illegal or harmful content.

7. Disclaimers and liability

Ascend is provided "as is". We don't guarantee follower growth, revenue, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; if a change is material we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
